World Championships Success

CCCAN warmly congratulates George Bovell III (TRI) and Arianna Vanderpool Wallace (BAH) on their success today in the swimming pool at the World Championships in Shanghai.

 

Swimming a time of 22.03 in the Semi-fianls this morning, George placed 7th in the Finals tonight bwith a time of 22.04.  This achievement representa a strong come back for George and sets him up well for next years Opympics. Well done George.

 Following on from her success in Dubai in December last year, Bahamas’ wonder girl Arianna swam an outstanding 25.28 in the Heats this morning to qualify for the Semi- Finals tonight. With a tremendous start in the Semi-Finals tonight, Arianna posted  a time of 25.05 to better her performance in the Heats and qualify fot the Finals tomorrow night. Well done Arianna.
